PRAYERS OF PETITION
From the 8th to the 15th of June
Father, through our brother Jesus, in the divine unity of the Holy Spirit, we enjoy an elevated nature as adopted children of God. Mindful of our place in Him, let us call out in confidence: Hear us, O Lord.
You teach us that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. Help us, Lord, to be sharp, fresh, and brilliant before a world that doesn’t know you. Hear us, O Lord.
You teach us that we are called to share your divine Word and be fervent about the spread of the Gospel. Help us, Lord, to be enthusiastic in preaching and teaching, but mostly to put into practice that which we know. Hear us, O Lord.
You teach us that a pure heart and a committed resolve to love will make our families whole. Help us to base everything we have and are on Jesus’ loving and guiding hand. Hear us, O Lord.
You teach us to have true and
genuine respect for your holy name. Help us to guard our tongue and say what we mean, using our voice for the end for which you meant it. Hear us, O Lord.
You teach us through Holy Mother Mary’s purity, we too may strive to pure and selfless sacrifice and give ourselves fully to serve and love our neighbor as she did. Hear us, O Lord.
Our soldiers need to know they enjoy the love of their nation and the care of their people. Please inspire them (and us) to do good, to serve your Holy Will and their nation, and to come home to the hero’s welcome they deserve. Hear us, O Lord.
You teach us that in losing our life, we will find life. Help us to have courage. Hear us, O Lord.

PRAYERS OF PETITION
From the 16th to the 23rd of June
We focus on the fact that our Father loves us and calls us to be His obedient children. We together call out to Him: Father, come to our aid.
Heavenly Father, many of our soldiers are in foreign lands and suffer loneliness and fear and the effects of battle (mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually). May they know the love of their God and country. May they feel the fraternity of their comrades and may they know your divine Presence at every moment of their day. Father, come to our aid.
Heavenly Father, abandonment earns us security in the Heavenly Kingdom, and generosity earns us rich blessings. Help us to be open to giving ourselves to you. Father, come to our aid.
Heavenly Father, the gentle servant girl you chose to become the Blessed Mother of your only begotten Son, Mary, is a guide to true purity. May the world grow each day in its knowledge of her. Father, come to our aid.
Heavenly Father, we are all called to heroic witness to your Divine Presence. Help us to have the desire to preach your holy Word. Father, come to our aid.
Heavenly Father, you teach us that we must forgive and not judge our brothers and sisters, lest that measure be used against us. May we grow in wisdom and understanding. Father, come to our aid.
Heavenly Father, you teach us that you light our families through our parents. We pray for strength for our families that they may continue in truth and love. Father, come to our aid.

The fervor of the Gospel calls us to go to great lengths to preach the Word and to convert the world to Christ. Give us the conviction… and the fervor. Lord, hear our prayer.
Evil is enticing because of the lie, and because so many voices clamor for evil’s rights in our world. Help us to fight the temptation to ‘give in’ to the clamor. Lord, hear our prayer.
As the Baptizer was an instrument to prepare the way for the Word, may we, too, be the sign to others to listen to the Word. May we decrease and He increase. Lord, hear our prayer.
